Actually Yes It's true,I actually made article of it under Triond and I will repost it here so everybody will know how to make money in Youtube.

I made 5 steps for you guys for beginners.For existing members,surely you know this already.

1.Open New Account- If your new in the world of Youtube then you can check right away the site and sign up for new account but if your existing user,just check the account area and look for Youtube Partner and ads partner.You will be able to see there are Google Adsense settings or account. (NOTE: Don't be so excited opening new google adsense account as if you will not qualify the requirements of google adsense,you will get block.First you need to earn views before signing up for Ad partner.

2.Upload Original Videos-Be creative,think of something interesting that will snatch the attention of the viewers.

3.Get mass of views- Views is very important to earn money in youtube that's why you need to apply creativity on how to get them.Set a goal for example (Reach at least 10,000 views)

4.ADD FRIENDS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN- Look for people interest your stuff that will subscribe or follow your channel.In this way,you will earn more views.

5. OPEN GOOGLE ADSENSE AND START EARNING- Here's the best part,if you gain views and feel ready to earn money,then it's time for you to sign up under google ad and start earning if approve.

NOTE:  This will not give you 100% assurance of being approve by Google Adsense so the only thing I can advice is earn views and give them a reason why you deserve google adsense account.
